Hearing Aid Price in Pakistan (2026): Brand-Wise Price Guide
What hearing aids actually cost in Pakistan in 2026: price ranges by technology level and brand, what drives the cost, and how to avoid overpaying. Updated for Lahore buyers.

Hearing aid pricing in Pakistan confuses almost everyone who shops for the first time. The same device can be quoted at wildly different prices, roadside sellers advertise "hearing machines" for a few thousand rupees, and the branded clinics quote lakhs. This guide explains what you are actually paying for at each price level so you can judge a quote for yourself.
Hearing aid price in Pakistan by technology level
Price tracks the processing power of the chip inside far more than it tracks the size or the shape of the device. Manufacturers sell the same physical shell at four or five "technology levels", and the level determines how well the device separates speech from background noise.
| Level | Typical price (PKR) | What you get | Suits |
|---|---|---|---|
| Entry / basic digital | 25,000 – 55,000 | Basic amplification, a few channels, manual volume, disposable battery | Quiet homes, one-to-one conversation, tight budgets |
| Mid-range | 55,000 – 150,000 | Rechargeable options, directional mics, real noise reduction, Bluetooth on many models | Most first-time buyers; work, family gatherings, TV |
| Premium | 150,000 – 300,000 | Faster processing, better speech-in-noise handling, app control, streaming | Busy environments, meetings, restaurants, mosques |
| Ultra-premium | 300,000 – 450,000+ | Top-tier chips, AI scene detection, best-in-class noise handling | Demanding listening needs, professional use |
Note that these are per-ear prices. If your hearing test shows loss in both ears, most audiologists will recommend two devices, because hearing with one ear makes it very hard to tell where sound is coming from. Many suppliers, including us, discount the second device.
Prices by brand in Pakistan
The major manufacturers sold in Pakistan are Signia (formerly Siemens), Phonak, Rexton, Widex, Oticon, Unitron and Interton. Every one of them makes devices across the whole price range, so "which brand is cheapest" is the wrong question — the technology level inside the brand matters more.
| Brand | Entry level starts around | Known for |
|---|---|---|
| Signia / Siemens | PKR 35,000 | Widest range in Pakistan, strong service network |
| Phonak | PKR 45,000 | Speech-in-noise performance, universal Bluetooth |
| Rexton | PKR 30,000 | Value rechargeables, shares Signia platform |
| Widex | PKR 50,000 | Natural sound quality, tinnitus features |
| Oticon | PKR 50,000 | Open-sound processing |
| Unitron / Interton | PKR 30,000 | Budget-friendly digital options |
Why the same hearing aid is quoted at different prices
- Technology level — the single biggest factor. A "Signia hearing aid" can be PKR 35,000 or PKR 400,000 depending on the chip.
- Genuine import vs grey stock. Parallel imports and refurbished units are cheaper but usually carry no manufacturer warranty and cannot be serviced locally.
- Whether fitting and programming are included. An unprogrammed hearing aid is not a hearing aid — it is an amplifier.
- Warranty length and whether it is a manufacturer warranty or a shop warranty.
- Rechargeable vs disposable battery. Rechargeable adds roughly PKR 10,000 – 20,000 up front but saves battery costs over years.
- Follow-up care — how many free adjustment visits are bundled.
What about the PKR 2,000 "hearing machines"?
The very cheap devices advertised online and in local markets are almost always analogue sound amplifiers, not hearing aids. They raise the volume of everything equally, including background noise, and they cannot be shaped to your specific hearing loss. Used at high volume they can make hearing worse. If a price looks impossible, it is measuring a different product.
How to bring the cost down without buying junk
- Get a proper hearing test first. Many people are quoted premium devices for a loss that a mid-range device handles perfectly.
- Ask which technology level you are being quoted, in writing, along with the model number.
- Consider last year's platform. Manufacturers discount the previous generation heavily and the difference is often small.
- Ask about the second-ear discount if you need two.
- Confirm the warranty is a manufacturer warranty, and that servicing happens in Pakistan.
- Budget for consumables: domes, wax filters and batteries add roughly PKR 3,000 – 8,000 a year.
Buying a hearing aid in Pakistan online
You can safely buy online, but the fitting cannot be skipped. We work as an online and home-visit service: the hearing assessment and the fitting happen at your home in Lahore, and devices and accessories ship nationwide. That removes the clinic overhead from the price without removing the audiological care, which is the part that determines whether you actually benefit from the device.
